Tens (This post contains strong (schoolyard) language and may not be suitable for younger viewers. Parental discretion is advised.)

Here's a list of the top ten insults/curses that I use on a weekly basis. These could also be new super villians in the next superhero summer blockbuster.

1. Ass-monger
2. Dumbfuck
3. Shitstain
4. Pedantic Tit
5. Ass head
6. Goober
7. Qu'est-ce-que-fuck
8. Knob
9. Dumb ass
10.Facist pig

"Look out Batman, it's Pedantic Tit!"

"Don't worry Boy-Wonder... Facist Pig and Ass Head will trip her up!"

I've been using douche-bag more often. Not sure why.

Kateshrew - Ass-hat is becoming more and more popular. Dunno where I heard it first, but I have heard it a lot recently.

BTW - were you ever in Kiss me Kate or Taming of the Shrew? Is that the origin of the handle?

Harley - Gal made me stop using that one. =)

I first heard asshat in Iowa, and it was a magical experience for me. I've never looked back after getting on the asshat train.

Harley - perhaps you keep using it because you're getting older now and sometimes it's difficult to feel fresh when we get older?

ass-hat apparently is used all the time at fark.com

i learned this from my "kids" yesterday in the van back from moncton improv, as they were educating me on the latest lingo... ass-hat included... and apparently it is now cool to rail against merlot. good thing i like shiraz.

Mare - Railing against Merlot I lay squarely at the feet of Sideways. If you haven't seen it, go see it now.

oho, where do you think i live, toronto or something that i can up and watch a decent movie at any time? sideways was here for a scant 14 days, during which we all went to see it (we know how things work around here). it was brill. so i did get the merlot ref. and i still like shiraz. though jenn and stew did share a lovely pinot noir at liz's last night.

also a good word: ass-hattery. as in "cease and desist your ass-hattery". that comes from chris last night, i'm sure he stole it from someplace cool.
