Kate - Thanks, I'm quite fond of it too... I take a good picture once every 5 years or so, so this doesn't bode well for my new headshots.

Okay, now I'm curious... does this actually not look like me? I think it's a pretty good likeness, but I've been known to be wrong about this sort of thing before.
Hell, I couldn't pick myself out of a line-up most days.
If I didn't see it on your site, I might be thrown for a loop. I'd be like, "Damn, that guy looks really familiar."
Then someone would lean over my shoulder and say something like, "Isn't that [insert name here]?"
Then it would all come together.

it doesn't really look like you, vag, because it's the serious you. we're used to the smirky sonofabitch.
but we have seen the serious you as well, which was captured quite well in this photo.
also shooting it from a 3/4 angle accents the moodiness, and changes the angles on your face, which makes you look different - especially with the high contrast.
and you should totally get a hawaiian shirt for the luau. which you are coming to. oh yes, you will. i will fetch you, if need be.
and gal too, of course. :)
